Message from the Chair

Enterprise Cooperative Trust (ECT) is a not-for-profit foundation co-operative set up for individuals and organisations to work collaboratively to extend the opportunities for all young people in the London Borough of Enfield. As a collective we are stronger and together we are taking responsibility for improving the life chance and outcomes of our young people.

Across the UK and prominently within the London Borough of Enfield, there are long-standing challenges around inequality amongst young people which have been exacerbated further by the impact of Covid-19. ECT has been set up to address these inequalities and provide opportunities for all young people by bringing together members of our community. From businesses and schools to local authorities and charities, we believe in the ability and potential of every single young person and we will endeavour to ensure their potential is reached.

Young people are the future to our success. They will play key roles within our organisations, our communities, our businesses, and our Enfield. They have the ability to achieve their goals and thrive in society today so long as they are provided with the opportunities to do so. As a collective it is our responsibility to demonstrate our belief in young people, and to inspire them and provide them with the chances they deserve to become the very best version of themselves.
