At ECT, we believe in speaking up for those whose voices are often unheard. As we work collaboratively to raise the profile of ECT, we are also committed to raising greater awareness of the opportunities available, and how this benefits everyone involved – not only geographically, but across the education and business sectors as a whole. At the heart of this, is the belief that ‘working together’ we can help our children and young people succeed.
We will seek to raise the voice of everyone involved – including pupils, staff, partners, and members – to share a holistic view of what it means to be a part of the Cooperative, and the positive outcomes and impact it will have.
Beyond this, the Trust will utilise the power of our ‘collective’ to speak up for our values, our core objectives and our community in the following ways:
- Local Partners – ECT works with local partners to bring about societal change. A key partner is London Borough of Enfield. This partnership, alongside others, means that we can play our part together, in providing opportunities for all children and young people across the borough, in particular offering services and placements to children who are faced with significant challenges.
- Policy Makers – ECT works strategically with local and national policy makers to enhance the life chances of the local community and its young people. We do this in a spirit of partnership and community, as issues that face one, ultimately affect and impact all.
- Community Projects – ECT works to secure and deliver innovative projects working with like-minded organisations or individuals, either on a short-term or long-term basis, to bring about benefit to the Trust, its members and the wider community. As we champion these efforts on behalf of the community, we are at the same time, listening attentively to those we encounter to see how we can work together to meet our common goals.
- Fundraising – ECT facilitates, enables and acts as a funding vehicle for projects that benefit our schools, partners and the wider community. Our projects are varied and can be found here.
